Our day of warm up prior to the workshop found us at A-basin to accommodate a PMTS lesson for one of our staff. It turned out to be a Harb workshop week and it was a great joy to see so many skiers enjoying the fruits of Harod's labors.

Early season snowfall has been light this year, but January conditions at Keystone belied that natural reality through the heroic efforts of Keystone Resort's snow making crew. Early season Sacred Skiing workshops are conducted at resorts that have a reputation for great snowmaking and grooming so that the limitations of weather have the least effect on our skiing experience. While not all of the mountain was open, there was more than sufficient terrain to keep us skiing new and varied terrain for the duration of the workshop.

The day post workshop found us at Vail. The snow cover was thin and snowmaking appeared to be on the frugal side, but we found some good snow and had a great time exploring skiing with colors.
