Care and preparation of ski equipment for increased enjoyment.Our enjoyment of any task is effected by the tools we have chosen to use during that activity. Driving to town in a car with a flat tire is not the same experience as doing the same thing in a car without a flat tire. Similarly, the state of our ski equipment can have a dramatic effect on our experience.
Skiing in a Sacred Way workshops will take time to identify factors in equipment preparation and methods of maintaining our equipment. Whether we do this work ourself or ask others to, taking the time to assess the condition of our equipment is an opportunity to make a deeper connection with "the tools of our trade" and thereby improve our on-slope experience. In some ways this activity is a part of the Ceremonial/Intention Setting phase of our experience.
